Keke Palmer had a huge 2014, and for her work, she’s been recognized on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list for the Hollywood and Entertainment category. Among Keke’s accomplishments were becoming the youngest person to host a television talk show host and the first Black Cinderella on Broadway. Keke and other honorees were chosen by four judges: Susan Downey, Paul Feig, Donna Langley, Susan Wojcicki based on how they attract fame and influence social media. Congratulations Keke, this is a huge accomplishment for her as well!
In an interview with MadameNoire last year, Palmer shared with us how she remains grounded despite transitioning into adulthood from being a child actress:
“I stay close to my family, friends and God. I am extremely close to my parents and I have a great support system. I always make sure I am prayed up. My focus is not on the materialistic things around me. I never wanted to get caught up in the Hollywood stuff because that is not what matters. What matters is my purpose and spreading God’s love around the world.”
